Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host on the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage on both the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. Bolduan also worked as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan, as an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative events including negotiations to raise the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. Bolduan has also worked as a general assignment correspondent, covering news events such as an attack on the federal government's Christmas Day bombing attempt the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. In 2007, she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national for CNN Newsource. As the CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news as well as produced feature stories for over 800 CNN Newsource members. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She resides in New York City, with her husband and two kids.
